Aedes albopictus, a potential Zika vector, found in Wisconsin
The Asian tiger mosquito was found in Wisconsin in both 2017 and 2018. Numbers are very low and the mosquito populations are extremely localized. Tests indicate that the eggs cannot survive a normal Wisconsin winter.
